My first time here was in 2007 and became good friends with the sisters (owners). We have moved closer to San Diego after 2010, but would still drive to Hemet for a variety of reasons - and Hemet Asian Market is always a stop-over. Their hot meal is always the comfort food quality I always look for with a homemade taste to it, especially their lumpia Shanghai. Everything here is my craving. I always get teased for wanting to order every item on the steam table. They did away with dine-ins after the 2020 pandemic. Now you can only by meals to-go. The sisters occasionally shows up, but the market is mostly run by younger generations now. I am always delighted (like today) when I see them spread out - one in the cash register and one in the hot meal section. They have progressed, added more merchandise in the store. Even though customers are always present, ambience is pretty quiet.

We were visiting a friend for our first Friendsgiving from Las Vegas. I ordered from here because it was close to our friend's house. WHAT A BIG HIT! We ordered the pork lumpia and pancit party trays and we couldn't even bring it in the house before our host was eating everything hahaha. They live in Hemet and will be coming here from now on which is a win! Being brought up in a Filipino home I know my food, and the food was amazing. Sweet ladies all working here were very nice as well.

Great food and very nice employees! Would love it if they have chairs and tables to eat in.

A bit of a drive but if you have a craving for pinoy foods or goods and are close to the area it's worth checking out they have plenty of hot food entrees you can take to go and it seems to always be fresh and ready. The few times I've come back be never been disappointed. I'm also able to get most of the staple pinoy goods I need. Only down side is the location as there seem to be a noticeable amount of homeless and folks with either drug or mental issues. I didn't feel in any danger but I'd probably just come out to this plaza during the day to be safe.

Literally not one complaint The food is always amazing: the pork adobo is to die for, chickens good but it has bones if your into that, pancit noodles are good, lumpia is more on the thin side but still good, pork and fish sisig is great add some tortilla chips and it's almost ceviche (but the husband thinks I'm weird for it because that's not how it's traditionally ate), oh and the bbq skewers are always cooked perfectly, menudo was delicious. AND they have fridgerated(and warm) pork/chicken buns that are perfect. My husband has been to Asia and he says it's all just as good. The shelf food has a great variety and the ladies there are always so nice. 10/10 will recommend

I haven't been here in a long time, it looks like they changed stuff around. I came looking for noodles to make pancit and some chow mein noodles. They always have the things I am looking for. I bought my husband some lumpia that was also really good. I love the service here so much! They are always willing to help me find things and give me different ideas. This store is always clean and slightly busy. Thanks for the food... please make Kare Kare consistently

Found this hidden gem here in Hemet. Came in around 10 AM. Felt the peace of God. Praise Music going and a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was unbelievably good. Fresh, flavorful, and piping hot. I had the chicken adobo, the barbecue chicken skewer, and some white rice. Delicious! Generous portions, and reasonable prices .The staff was incredibly friendly and gracious. Haven't had Filipino Food in sometime and I missed it terribly. I'm so very happy I found this place. I will be back!

Their lutong ulam does not disappoint! Love their Sisig. Bunch of Filipino stuff! However I find their prices a bit higher I bought this 3pcs kamote for $8.99 where I could get 3 lbs of these from winco for $2-3. Saw my receipt when I got home and I don't live close so yeah never again! Very friendly people though!

What a neat place for Filipino specialty, it is a mom and pop shop selling everything from grocery, produce, hot wheels, trading cards, etc. They also have a to go food place inside selling some food, when I was there it was a bit empty, maybe they were changing stuffs, I saw some fried tilapias and chicken adobo, that's about that. The seafood section located in the back were mostly frozen, I didn't see any fresh seafood on displays like other Asian market, or maybe they had them stored in the back, who knows. I was looking for some Japanese seasoning, but they didn't sell it here, it's called Nori Fume Furikake, but they do have everything else.
